Programs

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

Afternoon Angel Lovers,
We wanted to remind everyone of of two programs at Angels for Hope.
We have a 100th birthday club, where a person having a birthday of 100 or more will receive butterflies from us at Angels for Hope, to help celebrate this wonderful milestone. So far this year we have celebrated with over 30 people. You can view them here 100th Birthdays If you have a loved one or know of someone celebrating this milestone you can submit their name here Birthday Information and our director Mary Holler will make sure we participate in the celebration.

We also have a Fallen Soldier Program, we are trying to reach the families of all Fallen Soldiers. We also honor them by listing them on our website which can be found here Fallen Soldiers If you know of such a family please submit their information here  Fallen Soldier Information

If you have an idea of any other programs please let me know as we would love to hear from you just email  Cindy

As always remember to send that sick loved one an Angel to let them know they are thought about and loved  Angels for Hope

Crocheting

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

Afternoon Angel Lovers
We are going to start a new segment in our newsletter. Angel Karen is going to share free patterns that she has found that you might want to try. We all look for cute dishclothes don’t we? Have you ever wanted to give that special gift? What better than your own handmade dishcloths? Combined with other kitchen gadgets would make a great gift for any occasion. Beware though, once you do it, they will want more each year lol Thanks Karen for doing this new segment.

The pattern Karen would like to share with us is from Bernat. You do have to join but it is free so don’t miss out. Aren’t these just the cutest!

Here is the link to the free pattern: Dishcloths

Visit Angels for Hope to request an Angel for a loved one.
